Non-denominational churches on the rise.

Robin and I begin a new ministry with a non-denominational church this coming July 1st. I cannot begin to express how excited I am to serve in an environment and culture that is committed to helping everyone find and follow Jesus. There is no perfect church, but there are healthy ministry environments that make it easier to carry out the mission of Jesus and Real Life Church, Valencia is one of those. We are so grateful for the privilege of joining this great group of pastors and ministry leaders who are willing to step out by faith to reach the least and the lost in this world and to do it as a team.

Thanks to everyone who has loved us through this process of finding a church that fits our heart and passion. To God be the glory! We cannot begin to express our appreciation to those who helped us pack up and prayed us through this giant transition to SoCal as we have been following God’s next assignment for our lives. Please continue to lift us up in prayer as we are all too aware of our need for prayer support, knowing that “apart from Him we can do nothing.

Check out this article that speaks of the expanding role of non-denominational churches in reaching this culture for Christ.

Rapid rise of non-denominationalism.

Thanks Michele. I’m so glad that you tracked me down. The Lord brought you and Michael to my mind several times recently, thinking of how you are doing and missing the opportunity to connect. The Lord has been leading us every step of the way as he has revealed our next assignment in ministry. This is not saying that it has been easy, but we have seen God do things in this process that cannot be explained other than Divine guidance. You know what it is like to move, so we are in the midst of sorting out and purging… as we prepare to move into a townhouse on July 8th. I start my new job here in Valencia on July 1st. Love to hear from Chuck and Chris… And Jake and Khloe too… God’s best to you! Stan
