H. Dale Burke

"At my memorial service someday, I hope my associates, friends, and family say, and actually believe, the following:

• He loved His Lord and served Him faithfully to the end.

• He loved his wife, Becky, and cared for her, cherished her, and helped her become all that God created her to be. He helped her blossom!

• He nurtured and loved his three children (and possibly grand children), and saw them all come to personal faith in Christ and begin their own journey toward maturity. He did all he could to live as their hero and role steward model.

• He was a good steward of all the resources God entrusted to him, investing his time, money, and abilities for maximum kingdom value.• He pastored his church with integrity and a commitment to the Word of God, always teaching and leading with excellence.

• He was a lifelong learner, always pursuing Christlikeness and making progress until he died.

• He loved people more than his personal pleasures and was willing to flex to serve the needs of others.

• He achieved to the best of his God-given abilities yet stayed humble, always giving the glory to God for whatever was accomplished in his life.• He enjoyed life and rejoiced his way through its ups and downs.
